Kim is a Dental Hygienist here at Windsor Gardens Dental. After completing her Certificate III in Dental assisting in 2016, she began her dental journey as a dental assistant. In 2018 Kim wanted to expand her knowledge so she completed her Certificate IV in dental assisting after which she realised how passionate she had become about preventative dental care.
In 2022 Kim completed her Advanced Diploma of Oral Health and on completion of her qualification she was honoured to receive the Jane Chalmers Award (Special Needs Dentistry).
Kim’s aim here is to individualise treatment for each patient to help them achieve their oral health goals as she truly believes prevention and early intervention is key in maintaining good oral health. She helps to educate her patients on the importance of oral health and its impact on general health. Kim enjoys treating patients of all ages and has a special interest in paediatric dental care as she loves educating children and supporting their parents regarding preventative dental care.
Outside of work Kim is a busy Mum of three trying to achieve the work/life balance. She enjoys spending time with her family. She loves cooking, cake decorating and has a newly found interest in renovating! Kim’s husband and herself recently renovated a vintage caravan which they enjoy holidaying in with the family.
Working at Windsor Gardens Dental alongside a team that is respectful of each other and highly patient focused is something Kim really appreciates.
